This dedicated CD/SACD Transport, available from September 2025, is designed for audiophiles who demand the finest sound quality from their silver discs. Representing the culmination of six years of intensive development, the Varèse Transport is our quietest and lowest vibration transport to date, pushing the boundaries of audio performance while simplifying system setup and use.

Launched with five core components—Core, User Interface, dual Mono DACs, Master Clock, and the Varèse Remote, alongside the Mosaic ACTUS app—the Varèse Music System is a testament to dCS’s relentless pursuit of audio excellence. The addition of the Varèse Transport extends this legacy, offering listeners an unparalleled way to experience their CD and SACD collections.
Since 2000, with the introduction of our first transport, the Verdi, dCS has been a pioneer in CD and SACD playback. While new digital music formats and streaming technologies have emerged, CDs and SACDs remain cherished by many for their unique sound quality and exclusive recordings unavailable elsewhere. The Varèse Transport is crafted for these listeners, ensuring their collections deliver the best possible audio experience.
Engineering Excellence: The Varèse Transport

Advanced Chassis Design: The top, sides, and front of the Varèse Transport are machined from a single piece of billet aluminium, with constrained layer damping between the chassis base and dress plates. Mechanism mounts, also milled from a single piece of aluminium without joins or fixings, further enhance stability and reduce vibrations.

Bespoke ACTUS Interface: The Transport connects to the Varèse Core via a single ACTUS cable, enabling bit-perfect audio transmission. Asynchronous audio, control, and timing signals are all managed through this interface, ensuring seamless operation. The Transport automatically syncs to a master clock signal (from the Varèse Clock or Core), eliminating manual configuration.

Enhanced Control Options: Listeners can control the Transport via the Varèse User Interface, Varèse Remote Control, or Mosaic ACTUS app, offering unmatched flexibility and ease of use.
