Samsung Electronics unveiled its latest Odyssey G7 monitors at Gamescom 2025, the world’s premier gaming event, held from August 20 to 24 in Cologne, Germany. These new 37” and 40” displays, alongside an expanded glasses-free Odyssey 3D ecosystem, cement Samsung’s leadership in premium gaming monitors, delivering unmatched resolution, refresh rates, and immersive performance for next-gen gaming.
Next-Level Odyssey G7 Monitors
The Odyssey G7 (model G75F) introduces two groundbreaking sizes: a 37” 4K UHD (3,840×2,160) with a 16:9 aspect ratio and Samsung’s first 40” Wide UHD (5,120×2,160) with a 21:9 ratio, expanding beyond existing 32” and 43” options. Both models feature VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification, 350 nits brightness, HDR10+ Gaming, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for seamless, tear-free visuals. Enhanced by Picture-by-Picture (PBP) and Picture-in-Picture (PIP) modes, CoreSync lighting, Auto Source Switch+, and versatile connectivity (DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.1 ports), the G7 offers ergonomic design with height-adjustable, tilt, and swivel capabilities. Visitors can experience these monitors with Genshin Impact at Samsung’s Hall 9 booth. Available now in Korea and the U.S., with Europe following in September.
Odyssey 3D: Glasses-Free Immersion
Samsung’s Odyssey 3D (model G90XF) pushes boundaries with glasses-free 3D gaming, featuring adjustable focal distance and customizable depth settings. New partnerships with Netmarble and SHIFT UP bring MONGIL: STAR DIVE and Stellar Blade to life in 3D at Samsung’s booth. The Odyssey 3D Hub, supporting over 25 titles like The First Berserker: Khazan, will expand to over 50 by year-end, including Lies of P: Overture. From August 22–23, Samsung’s The World of #PlayGalaxy event at Dock2 in Cologne showcases immersive gameplay across devices like the Galaxy Z Fold7.
OLED Excellence with Industry Leaders
Samsung’s partnerships with Blizzard and Pearl Abyss elevate the event, with over 80 World of Warcraft stations powered by the 500Hz Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SF) and 180 Crimson Desert setups using both G6 and 4K 240Hz G8 (G81SF) monitors, delivering stunning visuals and ultra-responsive gameplay.
