Complete Redesign from Mark 1 Prototype
MSB Technologies has completed a comprehensive redesign of the Sentinel DAC, building upon the foundation of the original Mark 1 prototype. This new version incorporates numerous improvements and refinements aimed at enhancing audio quality, reliability, and overall performance. The redesign marks an exciting step toward realizing our vision for this product.
Approaching the Next Major Milestone
With the redesign phase nearing completion, the brand is approaching a key milestone in the project timeline. The latest batch of PCBs has just been finished, and we are now focusing on creating the casework that will house these components. This critical step brings us closer to a functional prototype and eventual final product.
Manufacturing and Mechanical Tuning
The metal parts are currently in the shop, and MSB Technology is preparing to start fabrication. Additionally, they recently placed the assembled components on a granite slab to perform measurements and fine-tune the mechanical design. This process is essential to ensure precise fit and optimal acoustic performance before moving on to final machining.
