Power and Performance
At the heart of the 40 AMP lies a robust power supply, capable of delivering 100 watts per channel into 6 ohms. This powerful output ensures that even the most demanding loudspeakers can be driven effortlessly, allowing for a rich and dynamic listening experience. Whether you are enjoying the subtle nuances of a classical symphony or the explosive energy of a rock concert, the 40 AMP is engineered to reproduce the scale and drama of the musical performance right in your living room.
The amplifier is elegantly encased in the sleek aluminium design of the 40 series, featuring a striking 5-inch high-resolution full-color TFT display. This modern aesthetic not only enhances its visual appeal but also aligns with contemporary lifestyles, making it a stylish addition to any home.
Cutting-Edge Technology
Central to the 40 AMP’s impressive audio capabilities is its state-of-the-art digital-to-analog converter (DAC), developed entirely by Cyrus‘s research and development team. Utilizing the latest ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M chipset, the DAC has been meticulously reworked to deliver audio signals that faithfully replicate the artist’s original recording. This level of precision is unprecedented in Cyrus products, ensuring that every note and nuance is captured and delivered with clarity.
The 40 AMP supports a wide array of digital and analogue connections, enhancing its versatility. Among its many features is a low-noise MM phono stage, which borrows design elements from the award-winning Classic PHONO. This phono stage excels in performance, offering low background noise and a high dynamic range, making it the perfect complement for any quality vinyl turntable.
A Hub for Home Entertainment
Cyrus has also equipped the 40 AMP with the latest HDMI eARC input, further expanding its functionality beyond music. This addition allows users to enjoy their favorite films and TV series through their preferred loudspeakers, positioning the 40 AMP as a central hub for comprehensive home entertainment.
The DAC’s custom design is a hallmark of Cyrus’s digital products, and the 40 AMP embodies this philosophy more than ever. Supporting up to 32-bit 768kHz PCM and DSD1024 audio files, the 40 AMP delivers an unparalleled listening experience. Each component has been thoroughly analyzed and optimized for performance, ensuring that the board layout and DAC tuning are finely attuned to achieve the highest audio fidelity possible.
Enhanced Power Supply Options
To further elevate the listening experience, the 40 AMP can be connected to the 40 PSU external power supply with a single cable. This external power supply offers multiple outputs, all of which are digitally controlled for stability and noise reduction. The over-specified power supply allows the 40 AMP to maintain its exceptional performance, ensuring that the amplifier can handle any audio challenge with ease.
