Wireworld Cable Technology has announced the launch of its highly anticipated Series 10 audio cables. This new generation builds on the success of the critically acclaimed Series 8, incorporating advanced technical features and aesthetic enhancements designed to elevate audio fidelity.
The Series 10 cables feature upgraded patented DNA Helix designs, which now include additional strand groups. This innovation significantly reduces electromagnetic (eddy current) losses, resulting in enhanced resolution, focus, and dynamic contrast in sound reproduction. Wireworld’s latest composite insulation technology, COMPOSILEX® 5, further minimizes triboelectric noise, offering cleaner sonic textures and quieter backgrounds compared to previous insulation materials.
Comprehensive selection
These improvements reflect five years of rigorous research and development, underscoring Wireworld’s commitment to delivering unparalleled audio experiences. The Series 10 lineup includes a comprehensive selection of audio interconnects, loudspeaker cables, power cords, and both 75-Ohm and 110-Ohm digital audio cables, catering to a wide range of audio enthusiasts and professionals.
The interconnects, available in nine different levels, are priced from $36 to $3,900 per pair, including specialized options like tonearm cables, subwoofer cables, and minijack cables. For digital audio, the Series 10 offers six levels of 75-Ohm coaxial cables, ranging from $40 to $2,000 for a 1-meter length, and four levels of 110-Ohm balanced digital cables priced between $210 and $1,850 for a 1-meter cable. Speaker cables are also available in twelve variations, starting at an economical $1.50 and scaling to over $1,000 per foot.
Wireworld’s exceptional ability to reduce sonic artifacts and masking effects makes these cables particularly beneficial for all types of audio systems, from basic home setups to elite mastering studios.
Power Conditioning Cords
In addition to audio interconnects, Wireworld introduces their new line of power cords, branded as Power Conditioning Cords™, which are designed to extend the benefits of power conditioning right to the component’s power inlet. These include five levels of three-conductor cords starting at $130 and two levels of Figure-8 two-conductor cords beginning at $70. The proprietary Fluxfield™ designs integrated into these power cords provide robust shielding and filtering capabilities, further enhanced by the Series 10 upgrade to COMPOSILEX® 5 insulation.
