The DALI IO-12 headphones leverage four decades of audio expertise, incorporating the same SMC technology found in DALI’s high-end loudspeakers. By reducing hysteresis—a common issue in conventional magnet systems—SMC minimizes uneven harmonic distortion, achieving “electrostatic levels of midrange clarity,” according to DALI. Paired with custom-developed 50mm paper fibre cone drivers, the IO-12 delivers crystal-clear sound with lush midrange, impressive bass, and exceptional musicality, making every listening session immersive.
Versatile and Premium Design
Designed for both home and travel, the IO-12 offers versatile connectivity with aptX Adaptive Bluetooth, USB-C(supporting up to 24-bit/96kHz hi-res audio), and 3.5mm wired options. Its Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with three modes ensures an uninterrupted experience in noisy environments, while high-quality integrated microphones support clear hands-free calls and voice assistant functionality. Users can choose between two sound profiles—Hi-Fi for authentic playback or Bass for a punchier low-end—via intuitive onboard controls, eliminating the need for an app.
The IO-12’s foldable design features a real leather headband and oversized square ear-pads, offering 35 hours of fatigue-free listening per charge. A luxury travel case, USB-C cable, 1.2m and 3m mini-jack cables, a 6.35mm adaptor, and a flight adaptor are included, ensuring convenience and durability.
