Amphion has announced the A15, a new active loudspeaker that the Finnish manufacturer describes as bringing its studio-grade design pedigree directly into the home. Unveiled on 6 August 2026 under the tagline “Active Done Right,” the Amphion A15 is positioned as the home-listening counterpart to the waveguide, all-white cabinet and passive-radiator technologies Amphion has developed for professional studio monitors since the late 1990s.
Studio pedigree aimed at home listeners
Amphion says the A15 is built on the same design principles that have made its monitors a fixture in professional studios: waveguide technology dating back to 1998, the brand’s now widely imitated all-white speaker aesthetic introduced in 2005, and the passive radiator architecture it has used since 2013. According to Amphion, that combination is intended to deliver the clarity and musicality trusted daily by sound engineers, now packaged for the home rather than the control room.
Design and positioning
Amphion’s professional lineage is well documented on the studio side, including monitors like the One25A, and the A15 is the company’s clearest attempt yet to bring that same engineering directly to a home listening room in an active, self-contained package.
The company describes the Amphion A15 as offering intuitive installation and effortless day-to-day operation while keeping Amphion’s minimalist design language intact. Amphion frames the speaker as engineered for longevity and a reduced ecological footprint alongside what it calls a strikingly emotional listening experience, positioning the A15 as an active, all-in-one alternative to a traditional separates system for listeners who want Amphion’s studio sound without the associated hardware.

Amphion has not yet published pricing, full technical specifications or a release date for the A15; the company’s announcement states only that more information is coming soon.
