Italian manufacturer Omega Audio Concepts will introduce the Omega Audio Concepts SOLISTA, its new CD player, at Audio Video Show Warsaw 2026, running October 23-25 at the Radisson Blu Sobieski Hotel. The Omega Audio Concepts SOLISTA is shown as the centerpiece of a complete, entirely in-house system, paired with the ASSOLO integrated amplifier, EASY ONE loudspeakers and a selection of ELEMENTS connection cables.
One Chassis for the Omega Audio Concepts SOLISTA
Like a soloist performing alone, the Omega Audio Concepts SOLISTA brings disc reading, signal conversion and power supply together inside one structure, which is where the name comes from. The chassis is CNC-machined from a single block of solid aluminium for rigidity, precision and reduced vibration, and it is the first Omega Audio Concepts CD player to integrate its own power supply. Two centimetres of solid aluminium still physically separate the fundamental sections: the power supply sits at the rear in its own isolated compartments, fed by five independent toroidal transformers for control, stability and a coherent signal path.

Reading Mechanism and Control
At the core of the Omega Audio Concepts SOLISTA is the well-regarded CD-Pro8 transport, reinforced with a non-magnetic clamp and a flat-bottom reading unit, and backed by a 10ppm TCXO reference clock for timing accuracy. The front opening uses a hinge rather than extra electronic circuitry, so nothing inside the reading mechanism is disturbed during playback. Player control runs through an external 5-inch, 800×480 touchscreen display, itself housed in machined solid aluminium, alongside an infrared remote for operation from the listening seat.

Signal Path and Measured Performance
Digital-to-analogue conversion on the Omega Audio Concepts SOLISTA runs through a 24-bit/192kHz DAC, with an OPA1612 operational amplifier handling the audio output and an STM Cortex-M0 microprocessor managing the system. Omega Audio Concepts built the internal wiring from its own patented ELEMENTS conductors and kept the signal path free of series capacitors. The company specifies a signal-to-noise ratio of 110dB and a dynamic range of 106dB from the RCA analogue outputs, with a modest 20W power draw for a chassis that weighs in at 35kg.

Omega Audio Concepts describes the SOLISTA as the gateway to its digital world, “without being an entry-level” product, and every unit ships inside two flight cases nested in a dedicated outer box. Visitors to Warsaw can hear the full system in Room 127, on the first floor of the Radisson Blu Sobieski Hotel, alongside the brand’s existing line-up of digital sources from other manufacturers already covered on the site.
Pricing and availability
Omega Audio Concepts has not published pricing for the SOLISTA; interested buyers can request a quote directly through the Omega Audio Concepts website. The player will be on demonstration at Audio Video Show Warsaw, October 23-25, 2026.
