Toshiba has entered the fast-growing Art TV category with the Toshiba REGZA ArtVision G700S, a 4K QLED Fire TV designed around Japanese minimalism that aims to compete directly with Samsung’s The Frame. Available exclusively on Amazon in 55-, 65- and 75-inch sizes, the Toshiba REGZA ArtVision G700S combines a slim, wall-hugging profile with a matte display and curated artwork so it can double as framed art when not in use.
Minimalist design and included frame
The Toshiba REGZA ArtVision G700S features an ultra-slim profile as thin as 1.2 inches, a matte anti-glare screen, and an included two-tone White Oak frame designed to look more like part of the room than a conventional television. An UltraSlim wall mount is included in the box, letting the set sit close to the wall without an awkward gap for a more convincing gallery-like appearance.
“REGZA ArtVision G700S brings the beauty of museum-quality art into the home,” said Tatsuhiro Nishioka, Global Brand Director of Toshiba TV. “The REGZA Engine ZRi faithfully reproduces the reflected light and subtle details of each masterpiece, while the matte-finish display minimizes distracting reflections for a more authentic art experience.”

Subscription-free artwork library
Where Samsung’s Art Store requires a paid subscription for full access, Toshiba is including its Ambient Mode artwork library at no extra monthly cost. The Toshiba REGZA ArtVision G700S ships with access to more than 3,000 curated works, turning the screen into a digital gallery whenever it would otherwise sit dark, a notable advantage in an increasingly crowded Art TV field.
Picture quality is handled by the REGZA Engine ZRi Gen4 processor alongside QLED Quantum Dot color, a native 165Hz refresh rate, and support for Dolby Vision, Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10, HDR10+, HDR10+ Adaptive and HDR10+ Gaming. REGZA Power Audio pairs up-firing speakers for height with downward-firing speakers to keep dialogue clear, and the TV includes HDMI-eARC and a digital optical output for pairing with an external soundbar or audio system.
Fire TV and gaming features
The Toshiba REGZA ArtVision G700S runs Fire TV OS with Alexa+ built in for natural-language voice control, live TV, streaming apps and smart home management. Gamers get 165Hz Game Mode Pro, AMD FreeSync Premium, VRR, ALLM, Dolby Vision Gaming, HDR10+ Gaming and Toshiba’s Game Bar and Game Booster 330 features, backed by four HDMI ports with one supporting eARC.
