CEDIA Expo 2025 is set to host an extraordinary showcase of audio-visual innovation with a $1 million luxury home cinema demonstration in Sound Room 7 (SR7). This unprecedented collaboration brings together industry leaders Seymour-Screen Excellence, StormAudio, ASCENDO, Christie, madVR Labs, Panamorph, Moovia, and Simplified Acoustics to deliver a 14.18.10 immersive cinema experience that pushes the boundaries of home theater performance.
Seymour-Screen MFR film screen system
The centerpiece of the demo is Seymour-Screen Excellence’s multi-format retractable (MFR) film screen system, making its CEDIA Expo debut. Featuring the brand’s Enlightor-NEO acoustically transparent screen surface, the 15-foot diagonal screen in a 2.40 aspect ratio includes retractable 16:9 masking, deep velvet borders, and concealed tab tensioning, with no minimum seating distance required. Priced at $14,610, it sets a new standard for cinematic visuals.
Christie Eclipse G3 projector
Illuminating the screen is the Christie Eclipse G3 projector, debuting with 30,000 ANSI lumens and 98% of the Rec. 2020 color space. With a 20-million-to-1 contrast ratio and true HDR performance, it delivers unparalleled detail and depth of color for a retail price of $400,000. Video processing is handled by the madVR Envy Extreme 8 ($15,995), which offers top-tier HDR tone mapping, 8K AI upscaling, instant aspect ratio handling, and MotionAI for reference-quality visuals.
Panamorph Alpha Pro anamorphic lens
Panamorph enhances the projection with its flagship Alpha Pro anamorphic lens ($19,985), designed for ultra-high-end installations. “We’re seeing strong dealer interest in lenses tailored for premium setups, driven by growing demand for cinema formats,” said Panamorph CEO Shawn Kelly.
Storm I Audio Elite 32 processor
On the audio front, StormAudio’s award-winning Elite 32 Digital AoIP processor ($29,499) manages the 14.18.10 immersive audio configuration, with calibration performed in collaboration with ASCENDO using Dirac Live’s Active Room Treatment technology. ASCENDO introduces its HALO loudspeaker design for screen channels, paired with two 64-inch infrasonic subwoofers, showcasing professional-grade coaxial designs for consistent sound across 12 luxury Moovia seats. The total cost for ASCENDO’s speakers, subwoofers, and electronics is $716,050.
Simplified Acoustics
Room acoustics are optimized by Simplified Acoustics’ new BDP acoustic panels ($5,400), which use advanced Binary Amplitude Diffusion for superior sound control. The experience is completed with three rows of Moovia’s MARBELLA sofa model, finished in Italian wool with walnut trim, valued at $120,000.
Our MARBELLA seating elevates the luxury theater experience, said Moovia CEO Frank Dlugos.
This $1 million demo, running from September 3-6, 2025, at the Colorado Convention Center, offers attendees a rare opportunity to witness cutting-edge technology in action, setting a new benchmark for immersive home entertainment.
