Hisense, a global leader in consumer electronics, has secured the prestigious EISA Award for Best Ultra Short Throw (UST) Projector 2025-2026 for its cutting-edge PX3-PRO. The Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA), comprising 53 technology publications across 26 countries, recognized the PX3-PRO for its groundbreaking performance, redefining large-screen home entertainment with its advanced features and stunning visuals.
TriChroma RGB triple-laser
The Hisense PX3-PRO, launched in September 2024, leverages a TriChroma RGB triple-laser light engine to deliver 3,000 ANSI lumens of brightness and a native contrast ratio exceeding 4,000:1. This enables vibrant, cinema-quality images ranging from 80 to 150 inches, with a 0.22:1 throw ratio allowing projection from just inches away from the wall. The projector’s 4K resolution, achieved via pixel-shifting technology, ensures sharp, detailed visuals, while its support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, IMAX Enhanced, and HLG delivers exceptional color accuracy, covering 110% of the BT.2020 color gamut.
Striking design and breakthrough performance
EISA’s judging panel lauded the PX3-PRO for its “striking design and breakthrough performance,” highlighting its versatility for both cinephiles and gamers. Certified as the world’s first “Designed for Xbox” UST projector, it offers a 240Hz refresh rate at 1080p and low-latency modes with input lag as low as 5ms, making it ideal for fast-paced gaming. The projector’s Google TV platform provides seamless access to streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video, enhanced by AirPlay 2 and voice control via Alexa.
Audio performance is elevated by a 50W Harman Kardon speaker system with Dolby Atmos, delivering immersive sound that complements the PX3-PRO’s vivid visuals. Connectivity is robust, featuring two HDMI 2.1 ports for 4K/120Hz gaming, an HDMI 2.0 port with eARC, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. The projector’s sleek, futuristic design in gray and silver, with adjustable feet for easy setup, ensures it blends seamlessly into any living space.
The PX3-PRO sets a new benchmark for ultra-short throw projectors, combining premium visuals, gaming prowess, and smart features, said a Hisense spokesperson. This EISA award reflects our commitment to delivering innovative, high-performance home entertainment solutions.
Priced at $3,499, the Hisense PX3-PRO is available through retailers like ProjectorScreen.com and hisense-usa.com. While its built-in audio is impressive, some users may opt for external sound systems for deeper sub-bass, and manual keystone adjustments may be required for optimal image alignment.
