In this ninth part of the interview we asked the Mรฉtronome CEO: ‘How do you explain that the Dreamplay CD and Kalista DAC are tartgetted at people who want an analogue-style reproduction of digital music?’.
It’s difficult to explain, but I think that the people/customers/audiophiles really know Mรฉtronome as a brand that makes very analog sounding products. This is supposed to be our absolute top product. That’s part of the answer. Once people listen, they can hear that there is a huge difference with other brands. Not so much in quality, but more in sound reproduction profile. I think we sound very analog, we are one of the most analog sounding brands out there. There’s also the knowledge our the brand and the will that we have to continu in this direction.
