Focal Alpha Evo monitors provide pristine sonic coherence wherever you are listening. For renewed performance, Focal has chosen an aluminium inverted dome tweeter to ensure vast sound dispersion. The other drive unit is the Slatefiber cone, used for its neutrality and dynamics. So EVO stands for evolution. The Focal Alpha EVO range comes with a TRS jack input, a disengageable automatic standby mode and inserts for wall and ceiling fastening. The bass reflex design of the Focal Alpha Evo monitors ensures easy acoustic integration. For aesthetics, the cubic shape of traditional monitors gives way to rounded edges whilst the side panels show off a sleek, robust and modern design that contributes to their performance.
New flagship model
The Focal Alpha 80 Evo comes recommended for professionals seeking high volumes and rich sub-bass extraction. On board are a 25mm inverted aluminium dome tweeter and 200mm Slatefiber cone. The large laminar vent limits noises. These monitors provide excellent dynamics and a neutral tonal balance. They are made from 15mm thick MDF enclosure and incorporate internal braces to ensure the enclosure’s high rigidity, even at high levels of sound pressure.
