The Rhein Z1 Plus features a design like the current Mac Studio, offering an industrial look in black or silver with grooves on the front and sides. On top there’s the beautiful engraved Silent Angel logo. The Forester F2 features 6 LED lights on the front and ventilation holes on the sides and back. On the back of the products, we find the connection options. The Rhein Z1 Plus features a power switch, dual ethernet ports (one for network connectivity and one for an audio player), dual Super Speed USB ports to connect external storage like for example a NAS, HDMI port, external clock input port, internal/external clock switch, external power input, USB type C port, USB type A storage port and USB type A audio port.
Switching to the Forester F2: there’s your voltage regulator, power switch and socket, 2 x 12V DC outputs, 2 x 5V DC outputs and 2 USB type A outputs.
The Munich MU looks like a mini-version of the Silent Angel X-series products. Featured connections are the power socket and switch, 12V external power input, external storage expansion slots, Gigabit Ethernet port, grounding connector, digital I2S, AES/EBU and SPDIF outputs, word clock input, internal/external clock switch and analog XLR and RCA outputs.
