In this fourth part of the interview we asked the Métronome CEO: ‘How would you describe the difference between a digital high resolution and an analogue vinyl audio experience?’.
This is a very tough question! Because, you as know, the principals are very different. As far as we are concerned, everything that we do is not based on technical measurements, choosing certain parts of the device based on a technical insights or measurements. We listen! When we develop a device, we listen a lot. We choose components that way. This is our way and probably takes us closer to the vinyl people, because we are not electronic engineers searching for the latest technology or part. We listen a lot. This makes us come close to analog , finally even in developing the products.
