How to get the best possible sound out of those new pair of speakers? Do we have some rules of thumb for you? For sure !
Rules of thumb
Start by positioning your speakers at ear level and forming a triangular layout with your listening position. Play familiar music and experiment with different placements, listening for clarity, depth, and balance. Move speakers gradually, listening critically for changes in soundstage and imaging. Avoid placing speakers too close to walls, as this can cause unwanted reflections and boomy bass. Take your time—after adjustments, give your ears a moment to adapt before reassessing. Ultimately, your personal preference and listening environment will guide you to the best placement.
