Marking a significant step in its 50th anniversary year, British audio brand ARCAM has unveiled the first AV products within its acclaimed Radia Series. Announced on February 3, 2026, the lineup introduces three Audio Video Amplifiers (AVA15, AVA25, AVA35), a 16-channel AV Processor (AVP45), and two power amplifiers (PA4 and PA9), bringing the series’ signature musicality and design elegance to immersive home cinema applications.
ARCAM has a storied legacy in AV innovation, dating back to early milestones like the 1990 Delta 150 Nicam tuner and the groundbreaking 1995 Xeta 1—the world’s first audiophile AV amplifier. The new Radia AV models build on this heritage, combining premium performance with modern connectivity and advanced room optimization technologies.
The Radia AV range maintains the series’ distinctive aesthetic: sleek black casework accented by subtle yellow highlights, high-resolution 6.5-inch color displays, and intuitive controls. Setup and operation are streamlined via the ARCAM Radia App, while all models support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. The AVA25, AVA35, and AVP45 add Auro-3D compatibility. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.4 with Auracast, HDMI with eARC, high-res streaming through Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and Qobuz Connect, plus full Roon Ready certification for up to 24-bit/192kHz audio.
A key highlight across the AVA15, AVA25, AVA35, and AVP45 is support for Dirac Live Active Room Treatment (ART), alongside Dirac Live Room Correction and Dirac Live Bass Control. This advanced suite actively coordinates all speakers in the system, delivering superior bass management, timing precision, and overall clarity—elevating both music and movie playback beyond conventional room correction.
Radia AV Amplifiers
- AVA15: A versatile entry point with 12 channels of processing, supporting configurations like 7.1.2 or 5.1.4. It offers flexible speaker assignment for additional subs, heights, or surrounds, with full Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decoding.
- AVA25: Equipped with nine channels of Class AB amplification delivering 100W per channel, this model suits larger rooms and more demanding loudspeakers. It includes a substantial toroidal linear power supply for stable performance, Zone 2 output for multi-room use, and Auro-3D support.
- AVA35: The flagship AV amplifier features nine channels of efficient Class G amplification—offering twice the efficiency of Class AB for greater headroom and consistent dynamics. It shares the high-performance DAC architecture found in ARCAM’s stereo lineup, plus Matrix Channel Assignment for custom configurations and Auro-3D decoding.
Radia AV Processor
- AVP45: Serving as the centerpiece for high-channel-count systems, this 16-channel processor handles Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Auro-3D, and IMAX Enhanced. Balanced outputs ensure a clean signal path, while Matrix Channel Assignment enables flexible setups. It pairs ideally with external amplification like the PA9 and includes Zone 2 for multi-room expansion.
Radia Power Amplifiers (available Q4 2026)
- PA4: A compact 1U, four-channel Class D amplifier designed to expand Radia AV systems—perfect for height channels, surrounds, or secondary zones when paired with the AVA models.
- PA9: A nine-channel Class G powerhouse optimized for low distortion, high efficiency, and ample headroom. Tailored to complement the AVP45, it drives demanding immersive configurations with effortless control.
Scott Campbell, Director of Sales and Marketing at ARCAM, stated: The Radia Series has resonated with our customers for its musical excellence and superb design. We’re excited to extend those strengths into the AV category, bringing the same musical integrity to movies, TV and immersive home entertainment.
True to ARCAM’s philosophy—“Get the music right, and everything else follows”—these models prioritize natural dialogue, dynamic scores, and enveloping effects, whether recreating cinematic blockbusters or high-fidelity music playback.
