Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has announced the official launch of One UI 7, which will be available starting early April. This new user interface is designed with a bold new look and includes AI-driven enhancements that make everyday interactions more meaningful and intuitive.
A Bold New Design for Greater Personalization
One UI 7 features a revamped interface that offers users more options for personalization and control over their user experience. The design is simple, impressive, and emotional, providing a streamlined and cohesive experience for Galaxy users. With a simplified home screen, refreshed One UI widgets, and an optimized lock screen, users can intuitively and seamlessly customize their devices.
One of the standout features is the Now Bar, which displays important updates in real time on the lock screen. Users can easily check their progress while running or see what song is playing in their Galaxy Buds without needing to unlock their phone.
Smart AI Features for an Intuitive Experience
One of the biggest innovations in One UI 7 is the seamless AI-driven experiences that help users stay productive and explore their creativity. With the new Galaxy AI, everyday tasks are simplified, reducing the need for users to switch between apps frequently. The AI Select feature understands the user’s context and provides intuitive recommendations. For example, a user can easily save a video as a GIF by swiping over the Edge panel and tapping the ‘AI Select’ icon.
Additionally, One UI 7 introduces various tools like Writing Assist, which allows users to easily summarize or format content automatically. The Drawing Assist feature helps users bring their ideas to life using different input methods, while Audio Eraser makes advanced editing accessible by removing unwanted noise from videos.
Thanks to further integration with Google Gemini, users can now control their device using natural voice commands. A simple phrase like “Find Italian, pet-friendly restaurants with outdoor seating nearby” instantly activates the search function, displaying recommendations in a seamless interaction.
Availability of One UI 7
One UI 7 will be gradually rolled out starting early April to various Galaxy smartphones and tablets, including the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6, Galaxy Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and the Galaxy Tab S10 and S9 series.
