Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced on August 6, 2025, that its One UI 8 beta program, initially launched for the Galaxy S25 series in May, will extend to additional Galaxy devices starting next week. The expansion includes the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6 in Korea, the US, the UK, and India, with further rollouts planned for September to devices like the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, A36 5G, A55 5G, A35 5G, and A54. Users can join the beta program via the Samsung Members app.
One UI 8 introduces advanced multimodal AI capabilities, enabling more intuitive and personalized experiences tailored to usersโ real-time contexts. The update enhances productivity across Samsungโs diverse device form factors, offering proactive suggestions and seamless interactions. When paired with Galaxy Buds3 or Buds3 Pro, users can activate Googleโs Gemini AI through voice commands or a long press on the earbuds, streamlining daily tasks.
The official One UI 8 release is scheduled for September, starting with the Galaxy S25 series and incorporating feedback from beta participants. The update will then roll out to other eligible devices. Additionally, One UI 8 Watch will expand to more Galaxy Watch models beyond the Galaxy Watch8 series later this year, bringing refined wellness features and a more intuitive smartwatch interface to a broader user base.
