We all now the smartest amplifier of the Lyndorf range by now. Good news! It gets another update. As usual, the update is for every TDAI-1120 owner and free of charge. What’s this update all about you ask? Through Tidal Connect, the platform’s lossless audio quality can be seamlessly experienced with the touch of a button, streamed directly over the network to the Lyngdorf TDAI-1120.
Master Quality Authenticated
The update also includes decoding for MQA.ย The MQA Core Decoder embeddedย in the TDAI-1120 unfolds an MQA file once to deliver better than CD-quality, typically 96 kHz / 24 bit. Theย integrated MQA decoder is an important addition to TIDAL Connect, as it allows playing higher resolution files,ย for example from the growing selection of Tidal Masters albums and playlists. MQA files can also be played viaย UPnP and Roon.
Expanding streaming options
With this update, another option is added to the TDAI’s built-in media player. You now get: Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Google Chromecast, Apple Airplay 2, DNLA support (UPnP), Local file playback (USB), Interner radio (vTuner) and bluetooth. Tidal Connect was first introduced in Lyngdorf Audio’s flagship amplifier TDAI-3400 in 2020, followed by the MQA update in 2021. Lyngdorf Audio lee^s adding new features to their amplifiers and multichannel processors, to keep them up to date for existing and new customers.
