Two storied American brands, Klipsch and Airstream, have announced a groundbreaking partnership at the CES 2025, setting a new standard for audio excellence in the recreational vehicle (RV) market. Airstream has chosen Klipsch as its preferred audio provider for the 2025 Classic Travel Trailer series, integrating Klipsch’s renowned audio systems into its iconic towable models.
Midnight Flamingo package
The partnership will be showcased in Airstream’s new Midnight Flamingo package, which makes its debut at CES, located at Booth 17204. Designed for adventure enthusiasts, the Midnight Flamingo package features an upgraded audio system that promises to deliver an immersive listening experience. The setup includes an advanced head unit, four in-ceiling speakers, and a discreet subwoofer, ensuring that every journey is accompanied by the rich, premium sound that Klipsch has delivered since its inception in 1946.
Bob Wheeler, President and CEO of Airstream, expressed excitement about the collaboration, noting, “The iconic Airstream Classic Travel Trailer is the epitome of luxury, and it was only natural to update our flagship product with standard Klipsch features as the most recognized name in premium sound. Our customers have shared their preferences for hi-fidelity sound and entertainment system upgrades, and our partnership with Klipsch allows us new opportunities to introduce more immersive audio options, like the Midnight Flamingo package, to serve diverse recreation needs.”
Flexus Core 200 Soundbar
Among the standout offerings is the 2025 Airstream Classic 33FB, which features Klipsch’s award-winning Flexus Core 200 Soundbar. This innovative sound bar serves as the centerpiece of the audio setup, supporting four discrete speaker arrays throughout the travel trailer. The sound bar is ingeniously built into a counter that houses a 43-inch pop-up screen, delivering optimal sound and ease of access to controls. This compact yet powerful system enhances both music and movie experiences, bringing them to life with exceptional surround sound, no matter where the road leads.
Vince Bonacorsi, COO of Klipsch, emphasized the significance of the partnership, stating, “It is with great pride that we celebrate this partnership with Airstream, bringing together two American icons with a shared passion for excellence in performance and luxury recreation. Since 1946, we have embraced the spirit of adventure to faithfully reproduce the signature Klipsch sound, no matter the environment in which we listen. Together with Airstream, we enable a premium audio experience for enthusiasts who enjoy life on the road.”
Klipsch audio systems for Flying Cloud
In addition to the Midnight Flamingo package, Airstream plans to offer the upgraded Klipsch audio system as an optional upgrade for its popular Flying Cloud® 25FB and Flying Cloud® 27FB models. These models will maintain their standard features, including QuietStream™ Climate Control and family-friendly living spaces, while also introducing enhancements such as a rear hatch, dual air conditioning system, a 3-inch lift kit, and a solar and lithium power package for extended adventures. The Midnight Flamingo package will add stylish black and charcoal accents to the interior and exterior finishes, further elevating the Airstream experience.
With this partnership, Klipsch and Airstream are poised to redefine the audio experience for RV enthusiasts, ensuring that every adventure is accompanied by the richness and clarity of premium sound. As the 2025 CES continues, attendees can look forward to immersive demonstrations that showcase the synergy between these two iconic brands.
